Besnik Hasi to remain head coach
The option to extend Hasi has been lifted
RSC Anderlecht will start the 2025-2026 season with Besnik Hasi as head coach. Besnik joined us before the start of the Play-Offs. The option in his temporary contract has been lifted, converting Besnik's deal into an open-ended contract.
Sports Director Olivier Renard:
"Besnik got to know the player group thoroughly. There were frequent talks during and after the play-offs. Those talks showed that the coach's analysis and intentions are in line with those of the sporting management. There is work to be done. Besnik knows the players, the league and the club's expectations and now gets the chance to continue his work with a full preparation and in a renewed dynamic."
Besnik Hasi:
"I am proud and happy with the confidence of the club and look forward to continuing my work. In recent weeks, I have been able to experience first-hand what is going well and what needs work in regards to the first team. I want to use that knowledge, together with the sporting management, to take the necessary steps towards next season."
