The birth of his second son, his first cap with the Red Devils: these last few weeks have already been quite pleasant for Anderlecht goalkeeper and captain Hendrik Van Crombrugge. But there was still room for some more good news, the RSCA direction at Neerpede must have thought.
Today, Hendrik took his gloves off for a brief moment to put his signature to a new five-year deal with the Mauve and White. The club and Hendrik have closed an agreement that prolongs his stay in Brussels to 2025.
Peter Verbeke, RSCA Sports Director, is satisfied : "Extending Hendrik's contract is part of our plan to offer this young team enough stability. Every Sunday, Hendrik shows us how important he is for our project. He's a leader on and off the pitch, has good feet and comes up with crucial saves very often. A great captain."
