RSC Anderlecht sign Keisuke Goto
The 18-year-old Japanese striker will join the RSCA Futures in January
RSC Anderlecht welcomes Keisuke Goto. The 18-year-old striker will be loaned from Japanese side Júbilo Iwata for one year with an option to buy. The striker will join the RSCA Futures, our U23-team, as from January.
Keisuke is a promising, 1.91m-tall center forward. In Japan, he began his professional career at Júbilo Iwata and also experienced his breakthrough at his formation club. Scoring 10 goals and 3 assists in 18 games in the U18 competition, he quickly advanced to the first team. His official league debut for the first team followed in February 2023: against Fagiano Okayama, Keisuke immediately managed to score twice.
Keisuke has since scored 7 goals and provided one assist in 33 league games in the J2 League. He is also a Japanese youth international.
CEO Sports Jesper Fredberg:
"Keisuke is a young striker with a lot of potential and quite a unique profile: he’s tall but also technically gifted and with scoring abilities. We’ve had him on our radar for a while, so we’re very happy that we’ve been able to convince him of our project. Keisuke will get the opportunity to demonstrate his abilities with the RSCA Futures first, to further integrate at the club.”
