RSCA releases cycling shirt on the eve of Remco Evenepoel's Tour de France debut

The Tour de France has its Grand Départ on Saturday, June 29. The 111th edition of the iconic cycling race will also be the Tour debut of Sporting Boy Remco Evenepoel, racer with purple blood. RSCA releases a cycling shirt together with Castelli as a tribute to Remco’s first Tour de France.

At the age of five, Remco still chose football over cycling. He started his football career at RSCA’s academy Neerpede, and stunned every youth coach there thanks to his incredible physical qualities and winning mentality.

Aged seventeen, Evenepoel exchanged football for racing. That is where his talent fully blossomed. Taking him from the Pajottenland over the capital towards the highest scaffold. His impressive list of achievements now includes: world champion on the road and against the clock, two-time winner of Liège-Bastogne-Liège, winner of the Vuelta and more.

In Eddy's footsteps

Remco will be at the start of his first Tour de France on Saturday. An opportunity to follow the tracks of that other champion with purple blood, five-time Tour winner Eddy Merckx.

Everyone a Sporting Boy

On the eve of Remco's Tour debut, RSC Anderlecht releases a cycling jersey together with the high-quality cycling brand Castelli. The Sporting Boy cycling shirt is an ode to Remco, and a must have for cycling fanatics with a preference for the Mauves. You can now shop the cycling shirt at rsca.be/shop.

Everyone a Sporting Boy on Saturday. Vas-y, ket.

Collaboration with Coureur Brussels

The video was created in collaboration with the Brussels bicycle shop Coureur and their partners. The shirt will also be sold in their store; Kartuizersstraat 82 in 1000 Brussels.
