RSCA shoots its official team picture at Abbatoir in Brussels
Sporting has chosen a symbolical place in Brussels for its official team picture
Every season, RSC Anderlecht launches an updated version of the team photo after the official closing of the transfer window. Last season, the well-known Atomium served as a backdrop for the official picture. For the team picture for the 2023-2024 season, the Mauves travelled to the emblematic Abattoir site in Anderlecht. A symbolic place a stone's throw from the stadium, right between the touristic center of Brussels and Neerpede.
With this choice, Sporting wants to highlight its bond with the city and its residents and express its love for the capital. The former slaughterhouse, which acquired cult status in Brussels thanks to the film Dikkenek, is today a polyvalent 'city within the city', where different worlds come together at the weekly market, where cultural activities are organized, and where children with often difficult home situations find activities and mentors to play and grow up.
Fans can also get their own copy of the poster in the home shirt. Anyone who places an order in the webshop or makes a purchase in the fan shop will receive a poster with their order.
