Welcome, Lucas Hey
The Danish defender joins us from FC Nordsjaelland
Lucas Hey (21) is our latest addition to the first team squad. The central defender joins us on a permanent move from Denmark's FC Nordsjaelland and has signed a contract until 2029 with RSC Anderlecht. He will wear the number 3 on the back of his shirt.
Lucas Hey enjoyed his formation in Denmark at clubs such as Dragør Boldklub and AB Tårnby. In the summer of 2019, Lyngby BK snatched him up. After a year and a half in the youth teams, he made his professional debut for Lyngby in May 2021. His final breakthrough followed in the ‘22-’23 season, when he emerged as a stronghold in defense after Lyngby's promotion to the Danish Superliga.
His strong season earned him a transfer to FC Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2023. At FC Nordsjaelland, Lucas immediately became an important player in the back line and went on to play 51 games.
The young defender is also part of the Danish U23 national team.
Sports Director Olivier Renard:
‘We are very happy to welcome Lucas. Lucas is a central defender that is tall, good on the ball with his two feet and strong in the build-up play. He can play left and right in central defense and feels comfortable with both three or four in the back. Despite his young age, Lucas has also already gained some experience in Denmark.’
Velkommen, Lucas.
